I’m at my best in that sweet-spot intersection of Research, Design, and Innovation. I have the essential understanding and experiences in each area to effectively leverage, bridge, and generate to greater heights across all three. Many companies have increasingly focused on teams of specialists, assuming effective and seamless fusion will occur organically. Without the proper catalyst, it will not happen to the level necessary for sustained success. My knowledge and experiences across all three areas have made me uniquely better in each, and my goal is to be immersed again in all three areas orchestrating integrated creation.

I started my career within that sweet spot, applying a user-centered design framework and I’ve been hooked ever since. Management was a natural evolution, a way to lead the integration on a larger scale, and I’ve been able to toggle between key leadership roles and key creative lead roles at Microsoft and other companies. From touch and multi-touch, to air-gestures, speech, and non-traditional physical-digital solutions, I’ve terraformed domains essential to today’s mutli-platform solutions.
